So Behind
5 Comments posted in: Blog: My Life
Why am I so behind in my life? I’m really going through a can’t be arsed phase of my life at the moment. I’m convinced I’ve got the first symptoms of mid-life crisis. I really need to get on top of some things, my life is just drifting and I’m wasting it.

Maybe it’s just the winter kicking in? I get the same way at this time of year. Glad to see you back, man.

mm, that’s 40 coming up and too long in the same job, brother! Same situation I was in and look what happened to me - I left the country!
Oh well, I’m on the way back to England soon. Lots to look forward to - will be great to see all the nephews and nieces again, and you too of course.
Thinking of Dad this week as well.
Love, Neil

Turbo, It’s me, Pete.
Julie and I have done a new choon. I’ve tried phoning you so you can hear it, but you were probably busy doing ping-pong stuff. (Only kidding.)
Give this a blast in you ears:

We’re going to redo the vocals but the backing track is a corker. Needs to work up the ending, though.
Pete.

Just noticed Neil’s comment about your dad. Stopped me in my tracks a bit.
He was always so kind to me when I was playing table tennis with you, saying, “show ‘em how it’s done, Pete” when I was trying to keep my end up, even though I was rubbish.
It’s 2 in the morning and I’m scoffing sausage and mash and Julie’s stirring behind me and Harry and Herbert the hamsters are going mental on their wheels beside me and I’m thinking of your dad.
Pete.
