Day 1 - Land's End to St Ives

Day 3 - Harlyn Bay to Okehampton

Route was via the A3074 to Hayle which was fairly busy. Quiet clifftop road (B3301) with great views drops into several bays with climbs back out, actually going north the climbs are not as bad as they would be going south. We missed a turning in Porthtowan and climbed the steep hill above the village. This could be avoided by turning southeast before the hill and going via Mount Hawke. Perranporth has a steepish climb out. The minor road via St Newlyn East to St Columb Major has several short steep climbs, typical Cornish road. The NCN 32 will take you into Treyarnon.

Camping at Harlyn Bay Holiday Park, it's a children orientated holiday park. Doesn't really cater for the backpacker, the alternative in Treyarnon Bay looked worse so we cycled past. Price was OK, had to pay for the showers. Facilities were pretty average overall. Has a bar and entertainment! There's a shop for supplies a short distance before the park in Constantine Bay. Nice beach.
