| I’ve always fancied the idea of cycling from Land's End to John O’Groats and have finally made the decision to just go for it and do it whilst raising some money for my chosen charities. I’ve always enjoyed long distance walking, having walked the West Highland Way and other trails, so am used to roughing it and camping out. Going on a bike will give this a new dimension for me and now I’ve been putting in some serious training I am really looking forward to starting. Please support me in raising money towards the Middle Barton Pre School New Building Fund and/or Macmillan Cancer Support. Both these charities are close to my heart. My eldest daughter has been through pre-school having thoroughly enjoyed her time there and my youngest daughter will be starting shortly. The pre-school is in desperate need of a new building to call home. Unfortunately my wife’s sister had cancer and lost her battle. We want to give a bit back to Macmillan to say thank you for the support that was provided to her and her family through this terrible time. |
