Just look how muddy this site is! That's me pumping a concrete lined well near Gainsborough. The well is about 6m deep and we were drilling horizontal adits out of the bottom of it. The transit van in the background was a beast, it had a high range gearbox and could really shift! Photo taken in about 1991.
