The minor planet (41) Daphne was at opposition (closest to Earth) on 10th April. Here are 33 images taken using an Atik 16IC-S every 10s as it moves slowly across the sky. There is a faint galaxy almost directly beneath the asteroid.

It was discovered by H. Goldschmidt on May 22, 1856 and named after Daphne, the nymph in Greek mythology who was turned into a laurel tree. It has an average diameter of 174km and has at least one satellite.
